Oryx Pepper Grinder (12x50g) CASE
Grind a little pepper over any dish and it’s instantly just that bit more powerful. This reusable black pepper grinder from Oryx is filled with fairly traded black peppercorns, ready to be flourished in the kitchen or at the dining table. Black pepper is a flowering vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. When dried, the fruit is transformed into what we know as a peppercorn!

Orxy Desert Salt is no ordinary table salt. It’s salt with a story. It’s harvested from a remote and pristine area of the Kalahari Desert in South Africa. Here, salt water from an ancient underground lake, fed by subterranean streams, comes to rest on a pan. The water dries naturally under the hot Kalahari sun, and then the salt is harvested.
But why is the oryx the brand’s logo? In July 2000, the brand’s CEO (Samantha Skyring) walked for 7 days through the Namib Desert to reach the Skeleton Coast. After several amazing face-to-face encounters with oryx gazella, she learnt that these creatures can survive for two years without water, but needed to lick salt for sodium chloride, minerals, and essential elements every two months to survive. What better symbol for Sam’s brand of essential desert salt?
