Buy a bag, add a brew, bake… it really is that simple! With this authentic mixture of ingredients, you have all you need to bake a steaming hot olive and rosemary loaf in less than an hour! The bag provides all the dry ingredients – leaving you to simply add 330ml of beer (could also use cider, or a soft drink like soda water), mix together and bake! The beer bread mix can also be used to batter chicken and fish, too!    Set up by Tayrene and based on her Grandmother's recipe, Barrett's Ridge Beer Bread is packaged at Ukama Holdings, who provide on-going training, mentorship and support to black-owned micro-enterprises. The distinctive calico bags have been handsewn by South African charity, Deaf Hands at Work, adding an extra personal touch.

Olive & Rosemary Beer Bread by Barretsridge

Usage Instructions: Preheat oven to 190°, lightly grease a loaf pan, combine beer bread mix with a 330ml beer of your choice, stir the mixture until a stiff batter is formed, scrape the dough into the preprepared loaf pan, bake for 45 minutes, baking times may vary.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour (fortified (mineral salts (electrolytic iron, zinc oxide), vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9), Sugar, Flavouring (Sea Salt, Herb (Rosemary), Sugar, Dehydrated vegetable (olive)), Raising agent: baking powder (calcium carbonate, corn starch, potassium bitartrate).

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

GMO free.
