Driftwood Bee House
We’re all aware that much of the wildlife we know and love is under threat, which is why we need to make sure we’re doing our bit to look after them. These bee houses are a great way for you to do just that, as they’re designed to provide nest cells for solitary bees, of which there are 240 species in the UK alone, including the red mason bees and leafcutter bees!
You can encourage these busy pollinators by providing artificial nest sites and making their lives that little bit easier. This driftwood bee house should be positioned in full sun, facing south or east and should be at least one metre off the ground.
Once you’ve got your bee house in situ, you can sit back knowing you’ve done your bit, and watch the bees buzzing around their happy new home!
