Antiqued Copper Jali Lantern
Create a warm and atmospheric vibe by cosying the night away by candlelight. This handmade lantern has been cut with an intricate floral design reminiscent of lace, via a traditional craft technique known as jali work. The design is initially hand-drawn before being cut from the lantern. When you light a tea light inside, the flickering flame will bring the detailed botanical swirls to life, reflecting dramatically from the antiqued copper finish.
This vintage inspired lantern has been moulded by hand by artisans in Moradabad in India, where metal working is their prized traditional skill, passed down from generation to generation. The lantern rests on four little feet, and there’s even a hanging loop. Imagine a group of them hanging together, filling a room with their warm and enigmatic glow.
