Working at home I can look after my children

Balancing work and family life is one of the things that Chut appreciates about working for the Tan Hiep weaving group.

"I sometimes bring my son with me when I come to collect the work, but not always," Chut said.

"My husband works in the fields and we have our own land. He grows a plant used for herbal tea.

I use the money I earn to buy food for our family. We live together as a family which includes my mother and sister and we share everything together. If I work here for one day I can buy enough food for five people." - Chut, Mai Handicrafts, Vietnam
