Fair Trade Sugar
The Kasinthula Cane Growers' Association (KCG) is one of Traidcraft's sugar suppliers. In February 2004, Traidcraft's Market Access Centre ran a Trading Fairly Workshop for 33 farmers to introduce them to fair trade, Traidcraft and how their premium committee could operate. Ingredients: Fair Trade Sugar (41%), Glucose Syrup, Modified Maize Starch, Beef Gelatine, Acidity Regulators: (Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Acetic Acid), Glazing Agents: (Vegetable Oil, Carnauba Wax), Flavourings, Colours: (Vegetable Carbon, Curcumin, Carmine, Copper Complexes of Chlorophyllins).

All ingredients that can be Fairtrade are Fairtrade and certified to international Fairtrade standards. Total 41%. Fairtrade provides a better deal for producers in developing countries.
