Fair Trade Producer Details
Minka is a non-profit organisation working with native communities in the poorest regions of Peru. A major objective is to ensure that a fair price is paid for traditional hand-knitted garments. It sells and provides other support (e.g. training) for producer groups in many areas including hand knitters around Juliaca, ceramic producers from Puno and a group which make musical instruments, also from Puno.
