Fair Trade Wine
Our red wine from Chile is a 50/50 blend of the deservingly popular Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Best drunk young, this wine has a warm, blackberry aroma and a plummy, chocolaty palate, giving it body and depth through the long finish. Its flavours complement red meats and pasta dishes, as well as cheeses and grilled tuna.

Traidcraft's Chilean white has recently changed to a 100% classic Chardonnay packed full of peach and melon. The zesty citrus fruits are best tasted cold for that long, crisp finish, and the wine should be drunk young. Fish, salads, pasta and white meats all match the fresh flavours and the 2005 vintage is quickly proving to be a must-taste year.

Vinos Lautaro was created in 1997 by 17 small-scale farmers. Benefits funded by the Fairtrade premium include healthcare, scholarships for members' children and an annual holiday for members and their families.
