Our fairly traded sundried mango and pineapple is supplied by Tropical Wholefoods who sources it from Cercle des Secheurs. CDS was formed in 1994 by five founding members all using solar and appropriate drying technology developed by the Centre Ecologique Albert Schweitzer.

Three of the five founding members were cooperatives, of which two were women's cooperatives. The other two were private enterprises. CDS, their collective enterprise, was tasked to manage quality control and export to Europe.
